Groundskeeper Willie is a recurring character in the animated TV Show, The Simpsons. He is the abrasive, Scottish groundskeeper of Springfield Elementary School.
Willie is known for his thick Scottish accent, red hair and beard, and often uncouth behavior. He frequently engages in humorous conflict with Bart Simpson and Principal Skinner.
His first appearance was in the episode "Principal Charming" (Series #2), where he was introduced as the school's groundskeeper and janitor. He's been a fixture of the show ever since.
